CM and Vijay to launch ‘Kanimozhi’ audio on July 22.

CM Karunanidhi and Ilayathalapathy Vijay were seen together recently in the audio launch of ‘Vamsam’ which is also a launching pad of CM’s grandson Arulnidhi. The two personalities are coming together again for the music release of Jai starred ‘Kanimozhi’ in Arivalayam, Chennai on July 22, this Thursday.

The film which is named after CM’s daughter Kanimozhi created a buzz in Kollywood before the launching itself. Now to promote the film further, the actor-turned-producer Sona has invited the CM to launch the audio of the film. While Karuninidhi will release the first audio CD of the film, Ilayathalapathy Vijay will receive it.

Starring Jai, Vijay Vasanth and Shazhan Padamsee in lead roles, the film is directed by debutant Sripathy Rangaswamy and is produced by T. Siva of Amma Creations in collaboration with Uniq Productions.

Satish Chakravarthy, the former associate of A.R. Rahman has scored music while Na. Muthukumar and Pa. Vijay have penned the lyrics.
