In the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha Elections AIADMK is likely to dominate the elections in the State as per the latest released Times Now-C Voter survey.

The AIADMK is projected to win 28 seats as against the 9 seats it won in 2009. While the DMK is expected to be cut down to just five seats from 18 in 2009, and the congress dropping to 1 seat against the 8 seats it won in 2009 in alliance with the the DMK.

The Poll also predicts a 2 seats for the Vijayakanth lead DMDK , which had won zero seats in 2009.

In terms of vote share the AIADMK is predicted to get 43%, DMK- 31%,BJP- 8%, and Other parties – 17%

IN 2009 the UPA Alliance in the state included – Congress + DMK + VC had won 27/39 seats, While the third front alliance – AIADMK + MDMK+CPI(M)+CPI won 12/39 seats

Overall  country Wide the BJP led NDA is expected to get 186 seats wile Congress lead UPA is projected 117 seats, leaving 240 seats to others. Now if the Jayalalitha led AIADMK manages to win as per prediction, AIADMK is likely to play a huge role in the hung government.

But it is necessary to keep in mind that these projections are done with no clear indication of alliance, which plays a huge difference in  state of Tamil Nadu.
